Therapeutic Health Services is meeting the overwhelming need in our community for quality behavioral health care, treatment and support.

In an average year, our 9 service locations in King and Snohomish counties serve approximately 4,500 adults and nearly 1,000 youth and young adults in our community.

We excel in supporting the recovery of high-risk, low-income, multi-system involved adults and youth who benefit from intensive and creative treatment. We specialize in providing culturally relevant programs and services for BIPOC and LGBTQIA youth and adults.

Most recently, Therapeutic Health Services is:

  • Fighting fentanyl - the newest wave of the ongoing opioid epidemic. Fentanyl is readily available, affordable and deadly. Throughout its history, Therapeutic Health Services has been one of the region’s largest providers of medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction.

  • Providing school-based services for youth struggling to cope in a post-COVID, increasing divisive world. Young people are reporting higher levels of anxiety, depression, loneliness and suicidal ideation than ever before.

  • Making a positive impact on those experiencing homelessness in our region. By providing onsite behavioral health services to residents of tiny home villages in the Greater Seattle area, Therapeutic Health Services helps stabilize previously unhoused individuals, greatly increasing their success in transitioning to long-term housing.

  • Growing the next generation of community behavioral health providers through our vibrant internship program. Interns get real-world experience supporting people with behavioral health challenges. Many of our interns become full-time employees, allowing us to increase our capacity even at a time when there is a national shortage of qualified providers.
